Rain plan for garden wedding — What worked for us

We had our garden wedding in Bogor (yes, the rain city 🌧️) and survived! Here's our backup plan that saved the day: 1. **Clear tent/marquee** — Rp 8 juta extra but 100% worth it. Still felt outdoor but protected. 2. **Ceremony time** — We chose 3 PM because morning rain usually clears by afternoon 3. **Wooden walkways** — Placed between key areas so guests wouldn't walk on wet grass 4. **Umbrella station** — Bought 50 clear umbrellas (Rp 15K each) as both backup AND cute photo props 5. **Indoor backup space** — The venue had a small indoor room. We set it up as cocktail area but could convert to ceremony if needed. It actually rained for 20 minutes during setup but stopped before guests arrived. The tent was our hero.
